The attic is a place of domestic escape within one's own home, from one's own home. That, or a mini-storage pearched a top beds and baths. While the second may seem to neglect the space, leaving it to ruin, in the case of Allen's Attic it has served as an act of preservation, leaving the space intact as it would have been found when it was built 100 years ago. Today the use of the space is being reversed, what was once a forgotten space will be stitched back into everyday life. The problem is, how do we keep the history that neglect so wonderfully preserved?
