Mr. Robitz worked with Dan and Amale at Work AC during the summer of 2009. The edible school yard project is a conversion of the schools parkinglot into a garden where K-5 students will plant, harvest and cook their own food. The intent is to introduce healthy eatting habits early on through a knowledge of where their food comes from. The Edible School Yard Project is a continuation of Work AC's study of urban farming that they started with their PS1 Moma installation. Mr. Robitz contributed through design work, presentation material and construction documents.
